The Next Stop

The Next Stop is the 2023 University of Lincoln Graphic Design Degree Show, run almost entirely by students. As head of photography, I was responsible for all portraits and event coverage surrounding the show. The theme drew inspiration from the London Underground map, reflecting our next steps as designers. To carry this through the Instagram feed, the show's primary platform, I photographed a third of the portraits on a red background and the rest on white. Creating a scrolling red line reminiscent of the Underground's Central line. The page gained over 1,500 followers and 20,000+ likes, with portraits going on to feature on the UoL Arts website and framed in the studio alongside the student awards. On opening night, I was awarded a UoL Yellow Crayon for excellence in photography, with this project cited as a key reason. https://www.instagram.com/thenextstop2023/?hl=en
